Observation platform for vultures and the landscape

Located near the Teste rouge rendering site, the new vulture observation platform allows visitors to observe these majestic birds of prey while highlighting the importance of their role in the local ecosystem.

Made entirely from Ardèche chestnut wood, the platform is designed for free use by experienced naturalists, school groups and tourists alike. Detailed signage guides visitors to the site, where explanatory panels explain the relationship between local livestock farming and vultures. There is also a telescope for close-up observation of the birds in flight. The site, financially supported by the Region and the Département, is part of an initiative to raise awareness of biodiversity, with the support of the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (LPO).
