The Païolive wood
This petrified wood and white oak forest in Les Vans forms a group of mazes approved as a "Sensitive Natural Area" by Ardèche Council.
4 km away from Les Vans, this forest of petrified rock and downy oak forms a complex of mazes. The chaos of rocks and vegetation has given rise to strange shapes which resemble natural sculptures (bear and lion, Lot's wife).
