Mas de la Giralde bed and breakfast

Mas de la Giralde is a character stone farmhouse situated on terraced grounds of 15000m2, and well-located in the beautiful commune of Payzac in the Southern Ardeche. Elements of the buildings date back to 17th century. The Southern Ardeche nestles between the Ardeche Mountains to the north and the Mediterranean coast further to the south giving a Mediterranean style climate. The house and gite have been completely renovated and updated to a very high standard ensuring that your stay will be as comfortable as possible. There is a large swimming pool (10m x 5m) available for your use (May to September), use of the summer kitchen, as well as access to the gardens. Your hosts, Nick and Fiona, live on site and are readily available to help and answer questions as necessary. Mas de la Giralde provides two bed and breakfast rooms (La Glycine and La Terrasse) in the main house each with their own independent access and ensuite facilities. A continental breakfast is served daily on the covered terrace to bed and breakfast guests. In addition, we offer a spacious self-catered gite, Les Cigales, with facilities to sleep 4 comfortably. All the accommodations benefit from privacy and extended views. La Glycine is a bright and airy room with views across the swimming pool and gardens. The room is approximately 20m2 and provides comfortable sleeping for two or three people. La Terrasse is a large character room with views across the valley and direct access to the covered terrace where breakfast is normally served. The room is approximately 25m2 and provides comfortable sleeping for two people. There are large wardrobes in each room for guests to use. Both rooms have solid oak beds (La Glycine 3 x 90cm, La Terrasse 1 x 160cm). All beds benefit from luxury grade mattresses giving a very comfortable night's sleep. High quality cotton bed linen is provided for all guests. Bed linen and towels are changed on a weekly basis for guests that stay longer. Both rooms enjoy private shower rooms with toilet and include a towel rail and hair dryer. Each room contains a kettle and cafetiere for making tea and coffee, which are both supplied. In addition, all guests staying at Mas de la Giralde have shared use of the summer kitchen which includes a fridge and washing machine.
