Our Domaine “Pres de nous”, in the hamlet of La Davalade, is easy accessible via a paved road which meanders through a beautiful and wooded area with beautiful views.

In three years time Marie Louise Oudkerk (artist) and Hans Bik (architect) transformed an old derelict silkworm farm (1765) into a beautiful farmhouse equipped with all customary modern conveniences. It is a paradise for artists, art lovers, those who fancy organic cuisine, hikers and/or those simply looking to wind down. Only an hour’s drive from the Autoroute du Soleil.
There are three spacious and attractively decorated chambres d ‘ hôtes, each with a private bathroom. A gîte is also available, equally equipped with all modern days’ comforts.
Different exhibitions will be portrait throughout the season in the gallery.

Marie Louise offers painting workshops to explore and/or further develop your creative abilities. Full of passion and energy Marie Louise helps you to discover your artistic possibilities in the field of painting while leaving enough room for any specific wishes you may have. Options are provided to intersperse the workshops with sports activities in the beautiful surroundings. Last but not least, there will be more than enough time to enjoy the surroundings, the delicious organic cuisine, the various local markets and picturesque villages nearby.
