"Micro Folie" travelling digital museum
Masterpieces from the Louvre and Musée d'Orsay take to the streets! Thanks to the Carrefour des Arts and the Micro-Folie facilities, you can enjoy some of history's greatest painters just a stone's throw from home!
A Micro-Folie is a place of culture, exchange and sharing of knowledge, designed to welcome all kinds of people free of charge.
Often presented as a virtual museum, it is much more than that. On self-guided tours, using tablets, you can wander through the collections, admiring the masterpieces of major national museums such as the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, the Château de Versailles and many others, zooming in on details for a more detailed study, immersing yourself totally in a painting, in an era.
The Micro-Folie can also offer themed conferences where the mediator will guide the public through the discovery and lead creative and fun workshops. It can also programme shows such as operas, plays and ballets.
