With its rocky trails, the region is a favorite with mountain bikers who can take part in the ‘Raid VTT des Monts d’Ardeche’.
Various trails invite you to run along the steep paths of Ardeche: the ‘Trail des Gorges de l’Ardeche’, the ‘Boulieu Trail’, the ‘Chaussée des Géants Trail’ and the ‘Ardechois Trail’.
The International Marathon of the Ardeche Gorges in November is a much-anticipated event for canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts, with its 35 km descent.
Also in November, racing enthusiasts can look forward to the ‘Rallye de l’Ardeche’. Sporting events combine several sports, such as the ‘Raid’O Féminin’: running, archery, mountain biking… Reserved for women athletes, this event takes place in June. The Ardeche Gorge Triathlon in August is open to all and offers several distances.
