Les Ruchers de l'Herbasse

Production of honey harvest traditionaly.
6 Variety of Honey: Spring Flower Honey, Acacia Honey, Chestnut Honey, mountain Honey, Lavander Honey and Summer Flower Honey.

Emilie has been sharing her life with bees for nearly 15 years now.
Originally a passion shared with her family, beekeeping gradually became more important until it turned into a career change.
In 2020, beekeeping became her main activity, and she dedicated herself to expanding her bee colony.
Since January 2022, she has been a full-time beekeeper.

The majority of the honey is locally produced.

For the acacia, chestnut, and flower honeys, the hives are located in stationary apiaries within a 20 km radius of the honey house, in the municipalities of Margès, Charmes/Herbasse, Saint Donat, Arthemonay, and Châteauneuf-sur-Isère.

The lavender honey comes from the south of Drôme.
The mountain honey comes from Haute-Loire.

The honey is extracted and jarred by hand at the honey house, at room temperature, without any alteration of its natural qualities. Emilie ensures that the properties of the honey are respected so its beneficial qualities remain intact.
It then naturally evolves into crystallization (i.e., hardening), which occurs at varying speeds and with varying textures depending on the type of honey and the year.

All the honey sold comes exclusively from her own production.
