MARRONS GLACES D'AUBENAS started just before the First World War when Gustave Imbert joined his forces with a pastry-maker in Aubenas called Contassot.
Together, they decided to make marron confit and thus marron glacé.
In 1920, just after the war, the MARRONS GLACES D’AUBENAS company was officially founded.
Very soon, Gustave IMBERT bought out the shares of his partner, and the company became known as MARRONS-IMBERT.
