Domaine Solio

In the heart of 13 hectares of countryside, Sophie and Adrien’s property welcomes you with a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Only 30 minutes away from the Rhône Valley, the Domain de Solio overlooks the charming village of Satillieu and its small shops.

Everything here encourages you to unwind: outdoor activities nearby (mountain biking, hiking ways) and the Peaugres Safari at 30 minutes away. Wildlife is everywhere: donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, and guinea pigs share the grounds, as do bees, squirrels, deer and foxes, which you might spot as you wander along a path of the domain.

A sunny terrace with garden furniture and a gas barbecue awaits you, perfect for enjoying the fine weather. To enhance your stay, the domain offers a Nordic bath, ideal for soaking up the peaceful surroundings. One session is included with every booking, with the option of additional slots available by reservation (for adults only, for safety reasons). Children, meanwhile, can take part in a range of age-appropriate activities: exploring the domain, feeding the animals or going on a treasure hunt (available only on request).

An above-ground swimming pool*, shared with the owners, is available on summer.

The guesthouse, spread over three floors, accommodates up to 10 people. On the ground floor: a large living room with a fully fitted kitchen, with a wood-burning stove (wood provided). Upstairs: a family bedroom (160×200 bed + bunk bed), one bedroom with a 160 bed and a 90 bed and one bedroom with a 160 bed, two bathrooms and two toilets. The sloping attic houses a playroom designed for children (toy kitchen, books, games) with an extra bed suitable for younger children (access via a ladder-style staircase).
