We invite you to come and share our paradise space in St Germain, in our cottage in the attic of our home and enjoy the sweetness of life in the Ardèche countryside by the pool or on the cottage's private terrace.
Located in a quiet area, just outside the small village of St Germain, Véronique and Gérard welcome you to their gîte, situated in the air-conditioned attic of their home.
Upstairs (note the steep staircase with Japanese-style steps), this 70 m² gîte for 4 people includes two bedrooms (each with a double bed), a shower room with WC, a fully equipped kitchenette, and a living/dining room with a TV area.
On the ground floor, an outdoor space allows you to relax on the private terrace of approximately 20 m², with direct access to the shared swimming pool (for the owners only), and enjoy magnificent sunsets over the surrounding garrigue.
You will also find a games room/library (also shared with the owners). Ideally located in the heart of southern Ardèche, St Germain is close to the most famous tourist attractions: the Chauvet II Cave, the Ardèche Gorges, Vallon Pont d’Arc, as well as magnificent medieval villages to discover and the breathtaking Ardèche mountains, with their lakes and volcanic flows, all less than an hour’s drive away.
Within these wild landscapes, numerous sporting activities are accessible just a few kilometers away (canoeing, treetop adventure courses, microlight flights, bungee jumping, via ferrata, etc.).
You can even put on your hiking boots and set off from the house on the rocky paths under the canopy of oak trees, serenaded by the intoxicating sound of cicadas, for a walk through the heart of the Ardèche hills to the vertiginous cliffs overlooking the Ardèche River.
For cycling enthusiasts, the greenway cycle path is accessible 400 meters from the house and will take you to Vogüé, Ruoms and its gorges, to Aubenas and its medieval town, or to the villages of the Coiron plateau, Le Teil, and the Rhône Valley.
On the cultural side, the Ardèche region abounds with festivals: the documentary film festival in Lussas, the Aluna Festival in Ruoms, the Labeaume music festival, and more.

Opening / Rates
Open in 2027, from April 3rd to November 1st.
A minimum stay of 2 nights is required in the low and mid seasons, and a full week (minimum 7 days) is required during the summer season (high season).
The swimming pool is open from the beginning of June to the end of September.
Weekly rates:
July and August: €658
May, June, and September: €539
April and October: €448
Nightly rates: €64 to €94 (Except July/August: 2-night minimum stay; July/August: weekly rates in multiples of 7)
Tourist tax not included.
