You're sure to fall in love with the Petit Matagris gîte in the charming village of Étables. Carefully renovated, it offers just the right balance between simplicity and comfort. The vast garden invites you to take a break in the greenery, play with the family or indulge in the fruits picked from the trees. The wooden terrace, accessible by a few steps, is the perfect place for summer meals, reading or convivial evenings, with its garden furniture, large table and gas plancha. And to get your day off to a good start, there's a bakery just three hundred metres from the gîte.

Inside, the house features a large, bright living room with a fully-equipped kitchenette and a cosy sitting area. Two comfortable bedrooms with 160cm beds ensure a restful night’s sleep. Possibility of adding an extra bed. A modern bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet complete the layout. The soft ambience of the wood-burning stove promises lovely cocooning moments after your escapades, and the cooling underfloor heating ensures optimum comfort in all seasons.

There’s plenty to discover in the surrounding area. The Rhône valley is home to the ViaRhôna cycle path, renowned wine cellars and gourmet delights such as Valrhona chocolate. The Doux gorges can also be explored with a hike or an unusual trip aboard the Le Mastrou steam train. Nearby, the village of Saint Félicien immerses you in the sporting atmosphere of the Ardéchoise, one of the most famous cycling races.
