A moment of peace for two lovers in the heart of the Ardèche gorges, in the Studio with terrace and hammam of the Hameau du Vallier, for a weekend of sport or relaxation in the greenery, near the most beautiful treasures of the department.
At the gateway to Provence, Le Hameau du Vallier welcomes you to the Ardèche gorges, a few kilometres from the fabulous Chauvet cave and the Pont d'Arc, geographical and cultural testimonies to the timeless beauty of the area, not to be missed under any circumstances. A classified natural area teeming with birds (endemic species), the beaches of the Ardèche are 1km away. The GR4 (1 day walk) runs alongside the property, 50m above the house. All amenities are a 5 minute drive away and there are numerous sporting and cultural activities within a 15km radius (kayaking, horse riding, climbing, rafting etc… Neovinum, the Chavet 2 Ardèche cave, the Aven d'Orgnac, the Melvita factory, the lavender museum, the Alphonse Daudet museum, the forest cave etc.). It is possible to go directly to Ruoms (5km) to do your shopping (shopping centre) on foot or by bike, by the Via Ardèche which is 800 metres from our property (the green way, old railway). The medieval villages of Ruoms and Vallon Pont d'Arc (12th century) offer all the delicious local crafts and markets of the region. Ruoms-Sampzon-Vallon is the St Tropez of the Ardèche, but the house is very quiet and well away from the seasonal bustle.
Our accommodation is atypical in its design and decoration. From top-of-the-range equipment to cocooning comfort, the concern for beauty is the key word for your holiday at Hameau du Vallier. Classified as 4 stars but equipped as 5, particular attention is paid to the sleeping arrangements. Balneotherapy cabins with hammam are in all the bathrooms and a covered relaxation area with a top-of-the-range SPA awaits you in the garden from 8 am to midnight.
