La Châtaigneraie
At the edge of a chestnut forest, in the heart of the Ardèche, is this pleasant house. You're in Beauvène, just outside the village, along a small country road.
Away from the hustle and bustle, enjoy a stay close to nature, in a peaceful setting with a panoramic view on the Ardèche hills.
Serenity, quiet and relaxation on the gîte’s terrace, where you can have a meal, enjoying the view of the colourful village of Chalencon in the distance.
The small plot below is perfect for a nap in the grass while listening to the birdsong.
Inside the gîte, you’ll find a living room with fully-equipped kitchenette, lounge and sitting area. A corridor leads to the 3 bedrooms: the first with a 140cm bed, the second with two 80cm beds, and the third with two 90cm beds.
In the summer, reversible air conditioning is available in the living room and one of the bedrooms.
Finally, there’s a bathroom with italian shower, washbasin and toilet. A well-kept gîte in a rural setting for a relaxing vacation!
During your stay, you can discover unspoilt countryside and authentic villages on foot or by bike. The “Dolce Via” cycle path is ideal for exploring the Eyrieux valley.
Several bathing spots await you nearby: the Eyrium aquatic center (15 km’ drive), the Aquarock tree-climbing park (18 km’ drive) or the Ramiers lake in Vernoux en vivarais (20 km’ drive).
Foodies won’t be disappointed! Take advantage of the local markets to taste delicious local produce. In autumn, the ‘Castagnades’ (chestnut feasts) take place in many villages to honour the department’s emblematic fruit: the chestnut! Sheets and towels optional.
