Le Cros de Mazoyer

Old stone, tranquillity and nature are the key words of the gîte “Le Cros de Mazoyer”, located in Ardèche near Lamastre. Set in the heart of a former family farmhouse, this accommodation has been lovingly renovated by the owner and his children, with respect for its history and traditional character. A peaceful and gentle living environment where serenity reigns. Far from the hustle and bustle, access to this quiet haven surrounded by nature is via a stony path.

Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the view over the nearby forest from the furnished terrace in front of the house. Garden table, barbecue and deck chairs are available for your comfort.

The gîte is arranged over two floors. The owner has a studio on the top level of the building, which he may use during occasional stays. Inside, the gîte offers a cosy atmosphere with a warm and welcoming feel.

On the ground floor:

A fully equipped kitchen with dining table,
A lounge area with wood-burning stove (wood provided),
A shower room with washbasin and washing machine,
A separate toilet.

Upstairs:

One bedroom with a 160 cm double bed,
One bedroom with two 90 cm single beds,
A separate toilet on each floor.

For young families, a changing table is available in one bedroom, with a baby cot and high chair available on request. Wi-Fi is provided.

Nature surrounds the gîte. Set out to discover the local wildlife and flora, and enjoy the many hiking trails nearby. Cyclists will appreciate the proximity of the Dolce Via, a 90 km landscaped cycle route.

During your stay, explore the rich heritage of the area, including the characterful village of Désaignes and the Ardèche Train in the Doux Valley. Several swimming spots await you in these beautiful green landscapes: Les Salins lake (Désaignes), Retourtour lake (Lamastre), the Eyrium aquatic centre (Les Nonières) or Lake Devesset.
