2 self contained gîtes, in fully renovated stone house, in peaceful leafy setting below the Tanargue massif in the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature park. Les Chataigniers: living room, fitted kitchen area, 2 bedrooms (double bed) (4 single bunks), sofa, shower room, WC. Electric heating. Nearby: medieval villages of Largentière, Joyeuse and their markets, many other traditional villages. Walking/hiking trails on the doorstep. Lovely swimming spots in river Beaume. Ardèche Gorges (canoe), Pont d'Arc and many caves 30km. Large shops 23km. Unfenced garden shared by both gîtes at lower level beside a stream. Gîte at far end of hamlet.
