Murmures – Le gîte

Perched above a village on the edge of the Monts d’Ardèche Regional Natural Park, our newly renovated gîte welcomes you to an unspoilt setting where time seems to slow down.

Surrounded by forests, mountains, rivers and rolling hills, come and breathe in the fresh air, recharge your batteries and rediscover the simple pleasures of life.

Housed in a traditional Ardèche farmhouse and fully renovated this year with respect for the environment, the gîte combines authentic charm, modern comfort and a gentle pace of life.

We have created a warm and welcoming space that honours the soul of the building. Natural materials, furniture sourced from antique and second-hand shops, a few designer pieces and carefully chosen décor come together to create an elegant, peaceful atmosphere full of character.

Our approximately 70 m² gîte comfortably accommodates 2 guests, with the possibility of hosting up to 4 people when sharing the bedroom.

• A living area featuring a cosy lounge with a wood-burning stove and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen
• A bedroom with a 180 × 200 cm double bed and a pull-out daybed that can be converted, if needed, into a 160 × 200 cm double bed. All beds feature high-quality French hotel-standard bedding and washed linen sheets
• A shower room with organic cotton towels
• A separate toilet

Wi-Fi is available for those who wish to stay connected.

Parking is available on the property.

The gîte is nestled in a wooded property on the edge of the forest.

From your private terrace, enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, cook a meal on the plancha grill, relax beneath the arch of the small garden seating area, savour a coffee at sunrise or spend an evening beneath the stars.

Our two horses live peacefully on the property and contribute to the serene atmosphere of the place.

More than just accommodation, we want to offer you a place where you can slow down and take your time.

Our gîte is a cosy retreat where you can unwind, reconnect with yourself and rediscover your connection with nature.

We believe in holidays where sharing matters more than consuming. Holidays where you rediscover the pleasure of sharing a meal, walking through the forest, reading a book by the fire or watching the sun set over the hills.

We live on the property, close to the gîte. Always discreet, we will be delighted to recommend the most beautiful walks, our favourite restaurants and those hidden gems that only local residents know about.

Numerous hiking trails are easily accessible from the gîte.

Cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the Dolce Via greenway and the many cycle touring routes. Electric bikes are available to rent nearby.
