Set off for an unforgettable experience in the heart of an exceptional natural setting. Our team will guide you according to your level and desires.
Access conditions
The descent is open to anyone over the age of 7 who can swim, is able to immerse and is in good physical condition.
DDJS-approved establishment.
Our descent offers
– Pont d’Arc” mini-descent – 6 km (½ day)
Introductory course including the Charlemagne rapid and passage under the Pont d’Arc.
Route : Vallon-Pont-d’Arc → Châmes
Paddling time: 1h15 to 1h30
– Super mini-descent – 12 km (½ day)
Discovery run with dam crossings via slides, then passage under the Pont d’Arc.
Swimming and picnic breaks available.
Paddling time: 2h30 to 3h
– Nature Reserve – 24 km (1 day)
Complete immersion in the Gorges Nature Reserve, from Châmes to Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche.
Bring picnic, water and sun protection.
Paddling time: 4h30 to 5h
– L’Intégrale Sportive – 30 km (1 day)
Complete descent from Vallon-Pont-d’Arc to Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche.
Sporting route including Pont d’Arc + Gorges. Departure 8am-9am.
Paddling time: 5h30 to 6h
– La Détente” (2 days) / “La Farniente” (3 days) – 30 km
Descent at your own pace, with 1 or 2 nights’ bivouac accommodation (not included).
Total immersion in the heart of the Nature Reserve.
Paddling time: 6h spread over 2/3 days
– Ardéchoise” formula – 36 km (2 days)
From Sampzon to Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche: canoe slides, rapids and sensations.
Overnight bivouac (not included).
Paddling time: 7h30 over 2 days
– Maxi-Descente – 55 km (3 days and more)
From Vogüé to Saint-Martin-d’Ardèche: varied landscapes and a technical itinerary reserved for experienced paddlers.
Equipment required
Appropriate sportswear: shorts, T-shirt, swimsuit, closed-toe shoes.
Sun protection: anti-UV clothing, cream, cap/hat, glasses (with cord).
In case of uncertain weather: windbreaker/K-Way, warm dry clothes.
For short descents: remember to bring at least one drink.
For day trips: picnic + water (no shops in the Gorges).
For multi-day tours: camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, mattress, lamp, change of clothes).
Equipment storage
We provide watertight containers for your personal belongings. Their watertightness depends on how they are closed: protect all water-sensitive equipment (plastic bags, small watertight covers, etc.).
