Clément Ferrari, ironwork and fine furniture
Is it in the volutes created for his beautiful stone house that Clément Ferrari, ironmonger and furniture designer, finds his inspiration? He transforms metal into a work of art with creativity, skill and the passion of a master craftsman.
Here's the workshop: a bending machine, a folding machine and a 60s metal lathe. Clément also uses a grinder, a welding machine and other small tools, but he doesn't need to buy large, special-purpose machines, as these would require him to sell a lot more creations to be able to pay them back.
Clément qualified as a metalworker with the Compagnons du devoir. He has a passion for this trade, but since buying his house in 2015 with his wife Elisabeth, he has developed a number of other skills in the course of the renovation: stonework, electricity, plumbing, concrete…. Above the workshop is a magnificent rose window in reconstituted feraillee stone (2/3 dark grey cement, white cement and ochre).
The building has changed a lot, as its neighbours would say. The workshop, with its smooth concrete floor and marble powder, used to be a stable.
