L'atelier de Djé
Metalic sculpture, Artistic ironwork.
Djé grown up between le Luberon and Fontaine de Vaucluse, in sunny Provence.
He is coming from a modest family, his mum was a dressmaker and his dad had a metal workshop. He started using a welding torch and soldering iron from the age of 8. That’s how started the passion for shaping iron and metalwork.
Later, he travelled Europe as a musician, and went farther until the Indian Ocean to discover new rythmics and music. He met many artists, theater troupe, musicians, painters, sculptors coming from different parts of the world.That s why we can feel different artistic influences in his work
He s been living in Ardèche for 12 years. Djé has found in this region a favorable environement to develop his creativity. He give a new life to an object, recreating pieces out of salvage
Djé is creating unique pieces out of metal salvage. He can also work on request and create small pieces of ironwork art. Outsider art and modern art.

All year round, every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 3 PM and 7 PM.
