Workshop gallery – "La Fabrique Mosaïque"
Of abstract or figurative design and according to the tradition of ancient, Roman and Byzantine techniques, I "mosaic" paintings, decorative objects, walls and floors.
"My work can be seen at my studio "la Fabrique Mosaïque" in Saint-Basile by appointment, at the interior designer's shop in Lamastre and at "La horde des créateurs" in Vernoux-en-vivarais,
Each work is unique, by the size, the assembly of noble materials and by the play of contrast between light, opacity, shine, colours and textures.
I present two collections:
– the “home decoration” collection: mirrors, trivets, jewellery boxes, etc. made from Briare enamels, old earthenware and ceramics.
– the “work of art” collection made of marble, Venetian enamel/smalt, slate, glass paste.
I acquired these techniques from Master Mosaicists at the Atelier des 3 Territoires in Montreuil, at the Maison de la Mosaïque Contemporaine in Paray-le-Monial and at the International Mosaic School in Spilimbergo, Italy.
