Head to the city of inventors for an escape into the heart of nature. From Saint-Marcel-lès-Annonay, climb up towards Annonay.
On the Montmiandon cornice, you'll overlook the town of Annonay and its green hills.
After a descent with breathtaking panoramic views, the city of inventors is revealed. Here, you can visit one of the last three parchment factory in France, and discover its historic expertise. A little further on, join the Via Fluvia for a cool, shady walk along the river Deûme.
Admire the museum of the Canson and Montgolfier paper mills, housed in the former home of the Montgolfier brothers. This is a must before visiting Boulieu-lès-Annonay, a charming medieval village along the greenway.
