Château de Mauras – Gîte de la Tour du juge

12th century Château de Mauras, built on site of old Roman villa, between Valence and Montélimar, 10 min. from A7 motorway and from Privas, the glazed chestnut capital. The castle stands on promontory overlooking the plain around Chomérac, a lovely, partly fortified village (shady square, well, all shops).

The gite is located on the first floor and offers a beautiful terrace which you can access from the living room (a large room with fully equipped kitchen area).

Two bedrooms in the tower:
– a double bed room (160 cm) – two extra people can be accomodated if needed
– a room on the second floor – a family room on two levels, featuring 2 single beds (120 cm) and a double bed (160 cm).

A lounge with sofas, flat screen TV, DVD, stereo, internet connection, a collection of books and comics, 2 marble bathrooms with shower and whirlpool, 4 toilets.

Sheets, shower and bed linens provided. Inside the park, you can enjoy a covered pool 6m x 12m, open from May 1 to October 15). Extra beds can be provided if needed.

The whole castle can accomodate up to 41 people (gîte de la tour du juge : 15 people + B&B/Maison d’hôtes : 8 people + gîte Pavillon : 18 people).

From 01/01 to 31/12 daily.

Overnight: 1,500 € (for one night up to 15 people).
